Hi! Our names are Matt, Daniel, and Max, and we are seniors at Colorado College. We are making a film entitled “To the Moon and Back.” Our film is about a parent who loses their child to suicide. They is faced with a decision on whether or not to receive a medical treatment that temporarily allows the patient to experience death. While contemplating the decision, they experience several fantastical visualizations representing grief and its transformation. The visualizations of grief are transformed after they have a new experience at the place of the child’s death.

We plan to film February 20th, 23rd- 25th, 2023. The job will be PAID. The film will be completed in March of 2023. We are hoping to cast a 20-30s actor with experience in non-dialogued acting as our main protagonist.

If interested, please submit a sample 30 second monologue on the topic of greif. Do not worry about making it a cinematic masterpiece, just try to shoot with a medium shot for full details. Additional submission materials (video of prior film or acting experience) if you have them are more than welcome.
