Colorado Film Commission

Provides detailed information about applying for and obtaining Colorado film incentives. The Colorado Film Commission will also help you obtain permits, and provide other useful information pertaining to the Colorado film and video industry.

Glenwood Springs Film Commission

Through the years the Glenwood Springs area has served as the back drop for such films as Mr. & Mrs. Smith; The Great K&A Train Robbery; Under Siege 2: Dark Territory; Flashback; Messenger of Death and Tall Tale: The Unbelievable Adventure. Today, the greater Glenwood Springs area continues to be a frequent draw for producers of national television commercials who shoot at great locations ranging from the famous Glenwood Canyon highway to the scenic areas of the White River National Forest and the Maroon Bells.

Colorado Springs Film Commission

Nestled in the foothills beneath Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs is a thriving city with a downtown business district of modern high-rise buildings and wide side streets all splashed against the beautiful backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. With a wealth of sprawling ranches, abandoned mines and unique rock formations amongst alpine splendor, locations are easy to come by in an area of rich history and immense beauty. Boulder County Film Commission

Boulder is a film-friendly community with services to meet your film production needs. The county has been the location for numerous projects, including feature films, TV commercials and episodes, documentaries, photo shoots and music videos. Located just 40 miles from Denver’s airport, Boulder County has a unique mix of intimate charm and hip urban culture. Acres of open space and mountain parks extend from the high plains farmland to the Rocky Mountains. In 10 minutes, you can be in the middle of nowhere. Boulder County has a wide range of filming locations, historic neighborhoods, architectural choices and winding mountain roads.

Gunnison-Crested Butte Film Commission

Our film commission was established to assist with bringing film/tv/media to Gunnison County, Colorado. Our county is nearly 2 million acres of high mountain desert and sage, and rugged granite Rocky Mountains, green meadows, vast expanses of ranchland, lakes and hundreds of miles of rivers. 1880s Western and Victorian Rocky Mountain Towns Packaged by Nature! If you are looking for the vastness and diversity of Colorado all in one location, look no further. Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport located in Gunnison as well as a fixed base operation.

Teller County Film Commission

Your first stop for resources within Teller County serving film, television, commercial, animation, visual effects and video production. Providing permits, library of still images and b-roll, location opportunities for filming, site tours, professional crew and production services and much more.

Southern Colorado Film Commission

The Southern Colorado (SoCo) Film Commission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping filmmakers of all types connect with the San Luis Valley and beyond in the southern reaches of Colorado. By providing film producers with a variety of free services, such as location scouting and assistance, finding and connecting with local resources, permitting assistance, and much more, we seek to make the regions we represent a more viable and attractive option for any film production and to support our local economy by driving more activity from the film industry in our region.

Four Corners Film Office

Film, television and digital media projects continue to be drawn to our area because of its diverse natural beauty and unique locations. The 4CFO is proud to support the region’s film-friendly legacy, to assist production crews, and to increase the economic benefits of production for our communities. From dramatic alpine peaks and colorful, historic towns like Durango, Silverton and Pagosa Springs, to the desert canyons and ancient cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde Country, the region has an unmatched diversity of locations.

Leadville Film Commission

Nestled between some of Colorado’s highest mountains, Leadville is a true throwback to Colorado’s wild, wild west. Home to Horace and Baby Doe Tabor, the Unsinkable Molly Brown, and even the infamous Doc Holliday, Leadville once had a population of over 30,000 residents and was the 2nd largest city in Colorado. Now-a-days Leadville is home to a growing heritage, recreation, and eco-tourism economy. While mining is still performed north of town by Climax Molybdenum, now its the 14,000 ft peaks of Mt. Elbert, Mt. Massive, and Mt. Sherman that bring visitors from all over Colorado and the world.

Telluride Film Commission
