I help creative industry businesses, nonprofits, and artists protect their creative works and income streams so that they can focus on what they do best.

As an arts & entertainment attorney, I help clients set up their businesses, draft and review contracts and licenses, register their copyrights and trademarks, and resolve conflicts with clients and employees. I like to think of my work as creating the fencing around your playground, so you don’t have to worry about falling off the edges.

Because I focus on working with creatives, I understand the specific challenges you may be facing and show you the most cost effective way forward.

I love working with film clients, and have worked on many student and professional sets as a former student at the Colorado Film School. I have served as a Director and President of Apogaea, Inc., a local 501(c)(3) arts organization associated with Burning Man, and I was most recently selected by the Burning Man organization as its Boulder Regional Contact. I serve on the Boards for Art in Community, Inc.; the Denver Regional Fund; and Boulder Fringe Festival. In 2018, I was awarded Volunteer Attorney of the Year by the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts.
