Lea Croteau got her start in performance driving in 1993, in car clubs and at Summit Point Raceway where she taught terrorist evasion techniques (ramming, chases, TVI, J-Turns, Bootlegs). She started sportscar racing in 1995 and to date has multiple wins/podiums in NASA, SCCA, Rally America, World Racing League (endurance race series) and the Tire Rack One Lap of America.

As a successful racer, Lea’s skills are in high demand in film, on track and automotive activations around the country. She is considered an expert high performance, low-friction, ice-driving specialist. Since 2000, Lea has been at The Bridgestone Winter Driving School since 2000, with 10+ years as lead instructor. Most recently, you’ve seen her in multiple automotive television commercials, the TV show NCIS New Orleans and movie Need For Speed (nominated for 2015 Taurus Best Stunt by Stuntwoman). In addition, elite driving and racing schools (Skip Barber, BMW Performance Center, Ford Performance Racing School, Porsche Sport Driving School and more) feature Lea’s name on staff for facilitation, demonstration driving, and coaching.
