Skytheory is a Denver video production company founded in 2010 by director Allen McLain, whose commercial for Denver Health won an Emmy® for directing. We’ve produced commercials and branded content for X Games, Comcast, NBC Universal, Duracell, Vail Resorts and the State of Colorado, for three of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, and for a steady run of software and tech brands.

Many of our productions are built to deliver more than one piece, and to last: content without a sell-by date. For a national salon franchise, one production delivered a live broadcast, the brand film, stylist portraits and months of social content. For a connected-fitness brand, we shot an on-screen library of more than 60 workouts on our stage. For an adaptive-yoga program, a 125-movement library of more than 1,000 clips, plus a podcast.

For productions coming into Colorado, we’re the local company: bidding and line producing, crew from a deep Colorado roster, camera, lighting, grip and audio from our own inventory, and post at our second facility in Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe. And we own the stage: 1,800 sq ft, pre-lit, with a 24’×30′ cyclorama, green screen, a full RGBW lighting grid and a private greenroom. National Geographic and The North Face have both shot there, repeatedly.

Insured (GL $2M/$4M, inland marine, workers’ comp), with same-day COIs naming your production or venue. One team and one fixed written estimate, from the first call to delivery.
